Every one of those lessons still shows up in how I lead.
Critical care nurse, nurse anesthetist, healthcare leadership, healthcare IT consultant & advisor, M&A expert, real estate investor, owner, serial entrepreneur, and perimenopause, burnout and healthcare advocate.
Over twenty years in nursing, including work as a Critical Care Nurse, a Travel Nurse, and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. High-stakes, highly regulated rooms where precision was not optional and emotional regulation was the price of admission. I learned to make confident decisions and to be the steady one when steadiness mattered most.
During Covid, I served as Vice President of CRNA Services, leading anesthesia operations through the worst stretch of the pandemic: budget cycles, retention crises, staffing under emergency conditions, and the acquisitions tables that reshape a clinical workforce. That is where I learned what structure and culture do to people, and what people are willing and unwilling to do, depending on how well they are treated and listened to.
Alongside the clinical and operational work, I have spent more than a decade in healthcare IT consulting and advisory, running complex programs and projects. I have also built businesses of my own, including Your Housing Helpers, a furnished housing company I founded and still operate as a growing real estate portfolio. Different industries, the same underlying question: Is the design of the system in place producing the outcomes we expect?
Today I advise on healthcare leadership, operations, and technical,\u00a0 and clinical work. I speak in rooms that want the honest version of the conversation. I alos advocate on the issues healthcare underserves: perimenopause and women's health being a major lapse in primary care and gynecologic healthcare education.\u00a0
